During the afternoon breaks, there is time to have or to get lunch on the campus. We have listed some of the options:
Botanica
This is a cafe in the botanical gardens. They serve lunch from 12-3 PM. There is also the option to have a picnic in the park, Botanica offers picnic bags that can be ordered a day in advance (before noon).
Cafeteria in the Vening Meinesz and Educatorium buildings
These food courts offer a variety of options (changes daily).
Food trucks
On the Heidelberglaan you can find a selection of food trucks (the offer changes daily).
Grand Café Living
Hoi Anh
Vietnamese lunch place in the building of the Hogeschool Utrecht. They offer sandwiches, egg rolls, and salads.

Wednesday we have a free afternoon. We invite you to do some fun excursions in Utrecht with the other participants. Here are some ideas:
Visiting the iconic Dom tower
You can buy tickets online. The tower is undergoing final restorations at the moment.
Doing an escape tour (escape room game) through Utrecht
This is a fun way to explore the city. These games are played in a team and can be bought online (per team): e.g. Escape Tours Utrecht, or Outside Escape Utrecht (Google for more options).
Strolling along Utrecht's canals
Hiking through the Amelisweerd estate

Canoeing or supping through the canals or Amelisweerd
This is a fun way to explore the city or the Amelisweerd estate. There are multiple canoe and sup rental companies: e.g. Dagje Suppen, Rijnstroom, or Kanoverhuur Utrecht.
