This Privacy Policy explains how InFreq: Frequency Generator ("InFreq", "the App") handles information when you use the App.
InFreq is developed by Krepel Studio. The App generates audio tones at selected frequencies and provides tools for testing speakers, headphones, subwoofers, audio systems, and frequency response.
The App does not require user registration or a user account.
Krepel Studio does not directly collect or store personal information from users through developer-controlled servers.
The App does not ask users to provide personal information such as:
name;
email address;
phone number;
postal address;
contacts;
precise location;
photos;
videos;
audio recordings;
personal documents.
InFreq does not operate a Krepel Studio account system, cloud database, or remote server for storing personal user data.
InFreq stores certain information locally on the user's device to provide its functionality.
Locally stored information may include:
application settings;
selected language;
theme preferences;
selected frequency;
saved frequency presets;
custom presets;
Free version usage counters;
Pro entitlement status;
other preferences required for normal operation of the App.
This information is stored locally in the App's private application storage.
Krepel Studio does not upload this local application data to its own servers.
Users can normally remove locally stored App data by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App, subject to Android and Google Play backup and restore behavior.
InFreq generates audio tones locally on the user's device using Android audio APIs.
The App does not record audio and does not access the device microphone.
Generated tones are created locally and sent to the audio output managed by Android.
InFreq does not:
record conversations;
analyze microphone input;
upload generated audio;
transmit generated tones to Krepel Studio;
store generated audio on Krepel Studio servers.
InFreq does not require access to the user's personal files, photos, videos, documents, or audio recordings for its functionality.
The App does not scan, upload, modify, or remotely process user files.
No file or media processing is performed by Krepel Studio servers.
InFreq does not require sensitive Android runtime permissions for its core frequency-generation functionality.
The App does not use:
microphone access;
camera access;
location access;
contacts access;
storage or media access;
AccessibilityService;
Notification Access;
Usage Access;
display-over-other-apps permission;
device sensor permissions.
Standard network-related permissions may be used by Google services integrated into the App for advertising, consent management, and Google Play Billing.
The Free version of InFreq contains advertising provided through Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Krepel Studio does not independently collect advertising data. However, Google Mobile Ads may automatically process certain information in order to provide, measure, secure, and personalize advertising where permitted.
Depending on the user's region, device configuration, consent choices, and Google services, this information may include:
IP address;
device and account identifiers;
advertising identifiers where available and permitted;
interactions with advertisements;
application interactions;
diagnostic information;
information used for fraud prevention, security, advertising, and analytics.
Advertising behavior is subject to Google's own privacy practices and applicable privacy regulations.
The Pro version removes advertising from the App.
InFreq uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) where required to manage advertising privacy and consent choices.
Depending on the user's location and applicable law, UMP may display a consent message before advertising services are used.
Users may be able to choose whether certain advertising-related data may be used for personalized advertising or other purposes supported by Google's consent system.
Consent choices are handled through Google's UMP infrastructure.
InFreq offers an optional Pro Lifetime purchase through Google Play Billing.
Purchases are processed by Google Play.
Krepel Studio does not receive or store the user's full payment card details, banking information, or Google account password.
Google may process information necessary to:
complete purchases;
verify purchase status;
restore purchases;
prevent fraud;
provide transaction-related services.
The App may store the resulting Pro entitlement status locally so that purchased Pro functionality can be enabled.
Payment processing is governed by Google's applicable terms and privacy policies.
InFreq uses only third-party services that are required for the functionality and monetization described in this Privacy Policy.
These currently include:
Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK;
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP);
Google Play Billing.
These services may process information according to their own privacy policies and applicable legal requirements.
Krepel Studio does not sell personal information to third parties.
Krepel Studio designs InFreq to minimize the amount of information handled by the App.
Core audio generation and App preferences are processed locally on the device.
Krepel Studio does not maintain a remote database containing personal user information collected through InFreq.
Third-party Google services used by the App are responsible for protecting information processed through their respective systems.
No method of electronic processing or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but reasonable technical practices are used to minimize unnecessary data exposure.
InFreq is a general-purpose utility application and is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
Krepel Studio does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the App.
Advertising and consent behavior may be subject to Google Play, Google AdMob, and applicable regional requirements.
Depending on the user's jurisdiction, users may have rights concerning personal information processed by third-party services.
Users can also control certain aspects of the App by:
changing application settings;
managing advertising consent where available;
clearing the App's local storage;
uninstalling the App;
managing Google privacy and advertising settings through their Google account or device settings.
Because Krepel Studio does not operate a user account system or personal-data server for InFreq, Krepel Studio generally does not hold directly identifiable user profiles that can be individually retrieved or deleted.
Users may contact Krepel Studio with privacy-related questions at:
Krepelstudio@gmail.com
Application preferences and other local data remain on the device until they are changed, cleared, or removed through the operating system or uninstall process, subject to Android and Google backup or restore behavior.
Information processed by Google services may be retained according to Google's own retention policies and applicable legal requirements.
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the App's functionality, third-party services, legal requirements, or privacy practices change.
When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy will be revised.
Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
