InfraLens is a browser extension designed to provide read‑only visibility into the security and infrastructure configuration of webpages. User privacy is a fundamental design principle of InfraLens.
InfraLens does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data.
Specifically, the extension does not collect:
Personally identifiable information
Browsing history
Website content
Authentication credentials
Financial or payment information
Location data
Communications or messages
User activity such as keystrokes, clicks, or mouse movements
InfraLens performs local, read‑only analysis of the currently open webpage when the user manually opens the extension.
The extension inspects:
HTTPS / HTTP usage
Security response headers (such as HSTS, X‑Frame‑Options, and Content‑Security‑Policy)
Redirect behavior
Mixed content (HTTP resources on HTTPS pages)
All analysis takes place entirely within the browser.
No data is sent to any external server.
InfraLens does not share data with third parties
InfraLens does not use analytics services
InfraLens does not include advertisements
InfraLens does not sell or transfer user data
InfraLens uses the following browser permissions:
activeTab
Used to inspect the currently active webpage when the user opens the extension.
webRequest
Used to observe network requests in a read‑only manner for detecting security headers, redirects, and mixed content.
These permissions are used strictly to support the extension’s single security inspection purpose.
Modern browsers restrict extensions from accessing detailed TLS certificate information (such as certificate expiry data).
InfraLens respects these restrictions and does not attempt to bypass browser security controls.
Any future changes to this privacy policy will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
