About the Speaker:

         Er. S. Arunkumar is the Managing Director of Madurai ES Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd., with over 25 years of distinguished experience in civil and structural engineering consultancy. He has actively contributed to leading professional bodies, served as Past Secretary of the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (India), Madurai Centre (2013–15, 2015–17 & 2024–25), and serving as Secretary of the Indian Concrete Institute (2022–24), presently holding as Secretary (2025–27). An alumnus of IIT Madras, he earned his Master’s in Structural Engineering from Rice University, Texas, USA, specializing in seismic-resistant and large-scale infrastructure projects. A registered Professional and Grade-1 Structural Engineer and Fellow of ACCE (I), he is also a recognized speaker in structural design and earthquake engineering forums.
