This app provides easy access to the website lectio.dk and facilitates local generated push notifications.
LectioPlus operates on a client-side, local-first model:
- All communication occurs directly between your device and Lectio's servers (lectio.dk).
- We do not operate an intermediary proxy or server to collect, intercept, or store your credentials, personal messages, or academic records.
- We do not sell, rent, track, or monetize your personal data.

When using LectioPlus, the app processes the following data locally on your device:
- Login Credentials & Session Cookies: Authentication is performed securely via standard web views (such as EDUlogin / MitID / local institution login). The session
cookies required to authenticate your requests (e.g., ASP.NET_SessionId, autologinkeyV2) are stored strictly on your local device using platform-standard secure storage
(Android SharedPreferences / iOS Keychain).
- Credentials: Your raw passwords are not recorded, harvested, or sent to any third-party server.
- Schedule, Messages, Assignments, & Grades: The App fetches and parses data from Lectio to display schedules, notifications, and messages natively.
- Local Cache: To enable instant loading and offline functionality, data is cached in a local database stored strictly on your device.

- LectioPlus uses native operating system background workers (Android WorkManager and iOS BackgroundTasks) to periodically check for updated schedules, homework, and new
messages.
- Notifications are generated and scheduled locally on your device based on new items discovered during background sync. No external push notification servers receive your
message contents.

- Direct Connectivity: Network requests initiated by the App are sent directly over HTTPS to *.lectio.dk and official identity provider endpoints required for your
institution's login flow.
- Analytics & Advertising: LectioPlus does not contain advertising frameworks, tracking SDKs, or commercial tracking brokers.
- Diagnostics (Optional): In the event of an unexpected application crash, anonymous diagnostic logs (OS version, device model, stack trace) may be processed via standard
platform diagnostic channels without containing any personal information.

- Local Storage: All cached messages, schedules, and authentication cookies remain on your device.
- Logout & Clearing Data: You can log out at any time within the app settings, which immediately clears all saved session cookies and local cache databases.
- Uninstalling: Uninstalling the app permanently removes all local databases, cached content, and preferences stored by the App.
