Welcome to the K-12 Outreach: Collaboration Across INFORMS Societies session at the 2025 INFORMS Annual Meeting. This engaging panel brings together distinguished scholars and leaders to explore how INFORMS societies can work together to inspire the next generation through K-12 education initiatives.

This session is moderated by Yifeng Wang and features four distinguished faculty members from Arizona State University: Dr. Hasti Seifi, Dr. Teresa Wu, Dr. Giulia Pedrielli, and Dr. Bing Si, who share their inspiring experiences in K-12 outreach, student mentorship, and community engagement.
This session is moderated by Fenglian Pan. We invite Dr. Ana Muriel to provide an overview of the initiatives led by the Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) Visibility Taskforce over the past two years to promote the field, particularly among middle and high school students.
This panel is moderated by Zihan Zhang and Fenglian Pan. We invite Tuba Ketenci (Georgia Tech), Ana Muriel (UMass Amherst), Jian Liu (University of Arizona), and Kara Combs (Air Force Research Lab) to explore effective strategies for engaging K-12 students in STEM fields through both individual and institutional efforts.
