Automation is a cornerstone in modern efficient production. The combination of automation with the rapidly growing cloud-based computing, internet-of-things and machine learning are core to the emerging Industry 4.0, referring to a fourth cyber-aided "industrial revolution".

At the heart of the the Infold technological platform there will be a newly developed software, Mold3r, to digitalize, automate and model the design and manufacture of single and multi-component molds – of molds and for products of almost any material. Mold3r will allow for more efficient modeling of mold (and product prior mold manufacture) and enable direct molding of more complex products – and thereby reduce subsequent post-molding process-steps.

During the first phase of the company business- and technological development we will focus on launching Mold3r as a stand-alone product for licensing. Next, we plan to create a SME (and even a private consumer) friendly table-top hardware for Mold3r guided manufacture of molds for, for example, injection molding of composites.
