So you want to create an infographic.

Infographics are an aesthetically-pleasing and accessible way to share information. Knowing the why's and how's of designing effective infographics can help scholars share research and increase communication and collaboration with broader audiences. This toolkit offers insight into the creation of infographics and provides resources for designing your own infographic.

How to use this toolkit.

Navigation

This website is responsive, and its layout will adjust based on your device. This also means it is mobile-friendly, so you can access it through your tablet or smartphone. Each page has a hyperlinked "Table of Contents" near the top of the page. The pages are also accessible through the navigation menu in the website header. Feel free to explore these in any order you wish.

Embedded Media

Some pages have embedded media. You may watch the embedded videos directly on the page by clicking the "play" icon or expand them to full screen by hovering over the video and clicking the square in the lower right corner. You may watch the video in a new window entirely by hovering on the video and clicking the three vertical dots in the upper right corner.
