DIGITAL INTERACTION: COMPUTATIONAL TOOLS FOR ARCHITECTS
DIGITAL INTERACTION: COMPUTATIONAL TOOLS FOR ARCHITECTS
Angelos Floros
Presented: School of Architecture, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, May 2010
A lecture on the computational tools available to architects, organised around three stages of the same process: digital design, representation, and construction.
The argument is that these are no longer separate phases handed from one specialist to another, but a single continuous chain — where what is designed, what is drawn, and what is built are the same computable object at different moments of its life.
