A site-specific installation in which you experience the passage of time by walking.
Each step forward maps to a new stage of life. LiDAR tracks the visitor's position, a Raspberry Pi processes it, and a curated library of age-specific soundscapes plays back the corresponding moment — so that movement through a room becomes movement through a lifetime, translated into sound and light.
There are no controls. Nothing to hold, nothing to learn, no interface to negotiate. That absence is the design decision the work rests on: it makes the piece accessible to anyone who can move through a space, and it makes the interaction intuitive to the point of being invisible.
What the visitor is left with is not a demonstration of tracking technology but a personal reflection on ageing — a walk through a spectrum of life moments, where each transition is felt as it is crossed.
