The Greek national exposition was awarded the Special Silver Medal, "for its presentation quality and for the work of its designers".
An interactive installation presenting almost one hundred places in Athens that were turned into theatrical spaces.
Not theatres. Places — rooms, yards, warehouses, streets, ruins — that were taken over for a performance and then given back to whatever they were before. The work assembles them into a single navigable body, so that what appears is not a list of venues but a second map of the city, drawn by where people chose to perform.
It was made for the Greek participation in the tenth Prague Quadrennial, under the direction of Professor Apostolos Vettas.
