Introduction: Back in the golden era of instant messaging, when connecting with friends and family across the world was becoming easier and more essential than ever, a new app quietly stepped into the spotlight — HiTalk Messenger.
It wasn’t just another messaging app. HiTalk Messenger had a vision: to make communication as seamless and affordable as possible. With its sleek design, smooth performance, and a set of standout features, HiTalk promised users the ability to call and message for free, even with end-to-end encryption, without needing to compromising with Security Features.
The first advertisement for HiTalk Messenger introduced it as a "free chatting app with HD video calling support". It wasn’t flashy, but it got straight to the point. The video focused on real benefits for everyday users:
HD video calls for clearer, more personal conversations.
Free messaging, without unnecessary clutter or costs.
A key privacy-oriented feature: media files were not saved automatically, making the app stand out from many other messengers that fill up your gallery.
End-to-end encrypted messages, ensuring that chats remained safe and secure.
A thoughtful feature called "Note to Self (Offline)", allowing users to save personal notes and data without internet usage, helping conserve data.
The message was simple — "Talk to your Friends and Family Securely", without worrying about data usage or privacy compromises.
The ad ended with a warm message: “We’re always here to help,” offering direct support through an email (hitalkservice@gmail.com). It gave a sense of accessibility and trust, rare for smaller apps just starting out.
HiTalk Messenger was available on the Google Play Store, making it easily accessible to Android users looking for a lightweight, privacy-first alternative to mainstream chat apps.
The decision wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. What many didn't know at the time — and what I’ve come to share now — is that HiTalk Messenger was originally built using a third-party source. Like many beginners, I was eager to create something quickly and ended up rebranding a pre-built app instead of coding one from scratch.
It’s also important to mention that the "Sanidhya's Technologies" initiative didn’t exist at the time. This app was released well before I started working under this name — back when I was still exploring and learning, unaware of how things truly worked in the app world. At the time, I was just 13 or 14 years old — too young to fully grasp the implications.
I didn’t realize that the app I had published using a third-party source wasn’t truly mine. In my excitement, I ended up marketing something I didn’t actually create from scratch. It took time and growth to understand that. At first, it felt like a small success. But as downloads came in and users began relying on the app, I had to face a hard truth: this wasn't truly mine.
That realization wasn’t a setback — it became the turning point.
Instead of continuing with a product that didn’t reflect my own work, I made the conscious decision to discontinue HiTalk Messenger. From there, I committed myself to learning Android development the right way — understanding how apps are made, how to code, how to build real features, and how to bring ideas to life with integrity.
HiTalk Messenger may no longer be live, but it was the spark that ignited a far more meaningful journey — the journey of becoming a true developer.
To those who downloaded and supported HiTalk — thank you. Your support gave me the motivation to do better, to build smarter, and to create apps that are not only functional but genuinely original.
Stay tuned — this is just the beginning.
