Meet the Infinity Dance Camp staff
Ms. Keisha Robinson (Director/ Choreographer):
Keisha Robinson is a graduate of Arizona State University where she earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Art in Dance with an emphasis in Choreography. While at ASU she was a member of the Dance Arizona Repertory Theatre (D.A.R.T) Keisha also holds a Master’s in Organizational Management from The University of Phoenix. Keisha’s passion lies in introducing the art of dance to inner city youth. Her teaching clients have included The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix, The City of Carson, CA, and several school districts that include: Los Angeles, Compton, Spring, Houston & Klein Independent Schools Districts. She has also served on the teaching staffs of the Bara- Hambright School of the Arts and as the “No Limits” summer dance camp director for Dance Houston. Keisha is currently the Magnet Coordinator for Young Women’s College Preparatory Academy in HISD and Director of Infinity Dance Camp.
Ms. Ashley Collins (Assistant Director/Choreographer):
Ashley is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dance with Secondary Certification 8-12 and Physical Education Certification EC-12. She has served as choreographer and performer for numerous teams and organizations in the state of Texas such as All Nations in Praise, Elite Masterminds of Lufkin, R.A.V.E dance team, Praise N ’Motion Dance company and the East Bethel Cowboys junior cheer team. She has taught dance classes for the past six years in a variety of styles ranging from hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, ballet/tap and creative movement in both the private and public school sectors. At present, she is the Artistic Director for The Fellowship of Enlightenment Church Sacred Dancers Youth Ministry and an active member of the Adult Praise Dance Ministry. She is also currently serving the Independence Heights Community at Burrus Elementary as the Magnet Department Chair, Dance Educator and Coach for the Burrus Bees Dance Team. Ashley has a sincere passion for the Arts and working with young artists in the Houston community.
Ms. Brynae Love (Assistant Director/Choreographer):
Ms. Brynae Love has been serving in public education for almost 10 years. She began dancing at the age of four in the Dance Tree after-school program. Ms. Love earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance with honors from Sam Houston State University. She is a free lance choreographer and adjudicator for many high schools in the greater Houston area! She is engaged to her best friend Shawn and they are set to get married in December.
Ms. Anushka Oak (Choreographer):
As a dancer with the Rhythm India Bollywood Dance Company for fourteen years, Ms. Oak has given her life to dance and have been classically trained in Kathak by the Shivangini Academy of Performing Arts. Her career has taken her from opening for AR Rehman in concert, to Rocket’s Halftime Shows, a spotlight feature on Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown, Dance Network’s Travelling Dancer Houston episode and countless private events around Houston. Ms. Oak has dedicated her work as a choreographer and instructor to incorporating international styles of dance into Bollywood fusion. Her passion for dance is what drives and, and she loves sharing it with each of her students.
Ms. Lathasia Collins (Choreographer) :
Lathasia Collins is a Houston native with Jamaican roots. Her dance life started with Agnes Scott College’s Dance Theatre Company in Decatur, Georgia which is also where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish. She was principal dancer for Houston-based company, Sonkiss’d Dance Theater, which performed in Houston, New York and other locations outside of Texas. She’s also danced with Statements Dance Company which aimed to encourage people to immerse themselves in challenging experiences through the witness of authentic and powerful movement. Always allowing Afro-Caribbean culture to influence her modern dance training, her style can only be described as unique. When she’s not performing, you can find her in a classroom teaching 6th graders Reading, teaching in afterschool dance programs or promoting health fitness through dance in clinics around Houston.
