Beats Maker is designed to be a functional tool that does not require personal data to operate.
- No Account Required: You do not need to create an account or log in to use the App.
- No Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information (PII).
- No Device Identifiers: We do not access or store your device’s unique ID, contacts, or location.
2. User-Generated Content (Your Beats)
Your creativity belongs to you.
- Local Storage: Any beats or music tracks you create using the 3x3 launchpad are processed and stored locally on your device.
- No Server Uploads: We do not upload, store, or have access to the music files you create.
3. Third-Party Services
To ensure the App remains stable and easy to use, we use industry-standard services provided by Google Firebase:
- Firebase Analytics: This collects anonymized usage data (such as which screens are opened or session duration). This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify you.
- Firebase Crashlytics: If the App crashes, technical logs are sent to us so we can fix the bug. These logs contain technical info (e.g., device model, OS version) but no personal data or music files.
4. Device Permissions
Beats Maker only requests permissions necessary for the App's core functionality:
- Audio/Storage: We may require access to your device's storage only to save and export your created beats.
- Notifications: We may ask for permission to send notifications in the future (e.g., for new sound packs). This will only be enabled if you explicitly grant permission.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, rent, or share any user data with third parties. Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to share. The only data that leaves your device is the anonymized technical data described above, transmitted directly to Google's Firebase platform.
6. Data Security
Since we do not collect or store personal data, the risk to your privacy is minimal by design. The anonymized diagnostic data handled by Firebase is protected by Google's enterprise-grade security infrastructure.
7. Children's Privacy
Beats Maker is a creative tool and does not knowingly collect any data from children under the age of 13. Since no account is required and no personal data is collected, the App is safe for users of all ages.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
