Government Presented NEXO Planning Tool that Links Water, Energy, and Food [2019-11-08]
Our team led a workshop with stakeholders in Uruguay in November, 2019. The director of the Planning and Budget Office (Oficina de Planeamiento y Presupuesto OPP), Álvaro García, participated in the workshop and presented the NEXO planning tool developed by our team and funded by the Inter-American Development Bank. The NEXO planning tool links water use, energy generation, and food production, allowing users to analyze possible scenarios of resource allocation across these three sectors.
