P.E. grades are based on being prepared for class (properly dressed out with P.E. uniform t-shirt) and fully participating. Therefore, if you miss a P.E. class for ANY reason, you will not receive credit for class that day. In order to makeup the missed points, talk to your P.E. teacher for options to regain credit.
Health assignments are completed in class daily, but can always be found/accessed through Canvas. If you miss a Health class for any reason, you need to ask your teacher for any missed materials and when/how to complete them.
According to the CMS Parent-Student Handbook,
"A student in grades 9-12 missing 11 class sessions or more in a year-long class or 6 class sessions or more in a semester-long class, for any reason other than a principal-approved absence, will receive a grade of “F” for the course based on CMS Regulation JHBB-R."
Therefore, it is imperative that students are in class each day.
