Ms. susweta das

I’m a Physics student with an innate curiosity to decode the brain and its dynamics. I completed my B.Sc. in Physics (Hons) from Lady Brabourne College, University of Calcutta, India, and M.Sc. in Physics from the University of Delhi, India. Currently, I’m working as a research assistant in this lab, focusing on a project in Computational Neuroscience titled ‘Detection of Schizophrenia using EEG signal abnormalities’ under the supervision of Dr. Indranath Chatterjee.

My area of interest primarily lies in the field of Neuroscience (Brain Physics) and Biophysics. Being a Physics graduate, my goal is to apply my knowledge of Physics to the field of Neuroscience, which is vastly multidisciplinary in nature. I intend to work on advanced brain imaging techniques to unveil various properties of the brain and improve our understanding of various brain-related disorders.
