RULES FAQ
Some frequently asked questions and clarifications about the rules
What is 'KOS'?
- KOS stands for 'Kill on Sight' So when the rules say "No KOS", that means you cannot kill people on sight
Can I kill people at all?
- Absolutely! we focus on player interaction on our servers but killing players is sometimes what you have to do! Robbing someone may turn violent, your victim may try to retaliate. That's when you have to decide to kill or be killed!
Can I KOS if I am raiding a base?
- Yes, Think of bases as KOS zones. You may try to raid them, kill people inside them etc. But beware, if the base is occupied you may just get a few shots fired back at you!
Can I kill people if I don't want them on my property/base?
- Yes, If you are dealing with unwanted players at your home, feel free to KOS them. Although a verbal warning telling them you'll shoot if they don't leave beforehand is always appreciated more.
Killing after a successful robbery
- If you successfully rob someone, there is no need to kill them.
My victim claims he didn't hear me tell them to put their hands up now they're accusing me of KOS
- If you are not in voice distance, there's no way they will be able to hear you/know you are robbing them and wouldn't count as a robbery since its not the victims fault you decided to speak to them from a mile away. However you must also consider the delay Unturned sometimes has when first speaking to someone. Give them time for a possible delay to be happening before just shooting them.
