About Us

Indivisible Scituate is a grassroots, progressive group dedicated to showing that every voice matters and every action counts.

Founded in the spirit of resistance to the idea that “there’s nothing anyone can do,” we stand as proof that communities can and will act to protect our democracy. As a local chapter of the national Indivisible movement and a member of the Indivisible Massachusetts coalition, we work alongside other progressive groups on the South Shore to advance justice, equity, and representation for all.

We currently have about 250 members and meet monthly at the Scituate Library. We welcome anyone who shares our commitment to democracy. We operate from a place of good faith, grounded in the belief that while strategies may differ, our shared goals unite us. Respectful, open dialogue is at the core of our work, and we strive to create a welcoming space for collaboration, learning, and action.
