About Us

Our mission is to empower Arkansans to do democracy together. We advocate for issue-specific policy decisions through civic action, community conversations, and public demonstrations. We aim to provide democratic action training, fostering accountability with daily civic actions, monthly large gatherings, public non-violent protests and other actions. 

Our goals include:

• teaching how to do democracy

• mentorship through group connections

• civic action

• advocating for good policy

• observing government in action, providing transparency

Who We Are

Indivisible NWA was formed in December 2024 in response to a request from the national Indivisible organization.  In a very short time, we put together group infrastructure, including an email list, Facebook group, and website.  

We have a small but dedicated group of volunteers who provide guidance and support in decision-making and event planning.  We have co-leaders who work on the day-to-day questions, and we are currently developing a cohesive leadership structure to better serve our community.

As an affiliate of national Indivislble.org we are also seeking donations to help offset the expenses of running this organization.  IndivisibleNWA is completely volunteer-driven. Policies

1. Indivisible NWA is committed to nonviolence, and we expect the same from those who join our social media pages, meetings, and events. Violence, including suggestions to engage in violence, has no place here, and there will be zero tolerance for it in our name or in our spaces. 

2. We LOVE our volunteers and welcome your suggestions. If you have an idea for an event or other action, please consult with the leadership of Indivisible NWA first (indivisiblenwa@gmail.com)  We need to work together to ensure that events are coordinated to avoid confusion. Please do not use the name of Indivisible or Indivisible NWA to set up events without talking to us first.
