Samuel “SAM” Cruz Valdecantos is a Filipino music director, composer, arranger, and producer whose work spans live concert direction, studio production, and artist collaborations across the OPM scene. Known for his thoughtful arrangements and live showcraft, Direk Sam balances rich orchestration with contemporary production techniques to serve each artist’s identity and the audience’s experience. He leads Indiepinoy Studios — a full-service production workspace — and has collaborated with prominent Filipino artists and ensembles, delivering polished recordings and memorable live performances.
