Bordeaux: A Historic and Cultural Gem of Southwestern France

Bordeaux is a vibrant city in southwestern France, located on the Garonne River. It’s the capital of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and is world-renowned for its wine, architecture, and art de vivre (way of life). It is also a wine capital of the world. Much of central Bordeaux is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In recent years, Bordeaux has become a model for sustainable urban living, with an emphasis on public transport, cycling paths, and green public spaces. 

Indians in Bordeaux Association aims to celebrate and foster a vibrant Indian community in Bordeaux. 

We organize diverse cultural events, sharing Indian traditions, music, dance, and food with both local and Indian communities legally. 

Our core mission is to bridge Indian and French cultures, encouraging friendship and understanding through engaging social gatherings and networking opportunities.

We are committed to supporting newcomers, including students, professionals, and families, by offering practical tips on housing, jobs, and legal assistance, ensuring everyone feels welcomed. 

We actively partner with local French institutions and cultural bodies to promote inclusivity and sustainability within our initiatives.
