Indian Pinnacle Olympiad is deeply committed to protecting the privacy of all participants, especially since most of our students are minors. We strictly follow Indian data protection laws and best practices to ensure complete safety and confidentiality of all personal information.

Our Commitment

• We fully comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws.

• We treat the protection of children’s data with the highest priority.

• We do not sell, rent, or share personal data of students with any third parties, marketers, or external organizations.

• We use ProtonMail as our official email service because we deeply value privacy and security. ProtonMail provides end-to-end encryption, ensuring that your communications with us remain private and secure.

Data We Collect

We only collect the minimum information necessary for smooth conduct of the Olympiad:

• Student’s Name, Grade, Section, Date of Birth (optional)

• School Name and City

• Parent’s / Guardian’s Email ID and Phone Number (for communication only)

• Performance data (scores, certificates)

How We Use the Data

• To register students and generate admit cards

• To conduct the online examination and evaluate results

• To issue digital certificates

• To communicate important updates (admit card, results, certificates)

• To improve future editions based on overall performance trends (anonymous data only)

Data Sharing & Disclosure

• We do not share any personal information of students with any external party.

• Student performance data is not shared publicly with names, schools, or states to protect privacy.

• Limited data may be shared only with:

  • Our trusted technical partners (strictly under data processing agreements and confidentiality)

  • Legal authorities, only if required by law

Special Protection for Minors

• We obtain verifiable parental/guardian consent before collecting and processing any data of students below 18 years.

• Topper names and individual achievements are not published publicly to respect the privacy of minor participants.

• Parents/guardians have full rights to access, correct, or delete their child’s data at any time.

Data Security

• All data is stored securely.

• Access to student data is strictly limited to authorized personnel only.

Parents and guardians can:

• Request access to their child’s data

• Ask for correction or deletion of data
