RIMS Research Group is led by Prof. Ajay Agarwal, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Jodhpur, working in the area of multidisciplinary sensors with the focus on Healthcare Technologies which include point-of-care and early diagnostic devices/ sensors, Environmental care sensors and  other sensors based on MEMS and Nano- technologies.

MEMS  (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) are semiconductor based miniaturized systems that have combine the electrical and mechanical features. As healthcare needs are shifting from Hospitals to individual, the requirement of miniaturization, cost-effectiveness, robustness and battery operated system has evolved.
