Conference Registration

We look forward to seeing you at registration where you can pick up your nametag, get your questions answered and prepare for the week. Registration will be open on both Sunday evening and Monday morning.

If you arriving on Sunday, June 14: 

Time: 3 - 7 PM

Location: Courtyard Bloomington at 310 S. College Avenue in Bloomington

If you aren't staying at the Courtyard, park in the temporary parking spots for hotel check-in or park at the hotel you are staying at and walk over to the Courtyard. 

If you are arriving on Monday, June 15: 

Time: 7:15 - 8:15 AM 

Location: Monroe Convention Center at 302 S College Ave in Bloomington

Please be sure to leave enough time to park and make it through the line in order to be seated (with breakfast) by 8:30 AM. 

Hotels 

CSPDWeek will cover room charge, parking, and tax for CSPDWeek. You will be responsible for all other charges. You will be required to put a credit card on file upon check in for any incidental charges during your day. The hotel will place a hold on your card for the duration of your stay. 

Hotels will be assigned at registration and will be sent via a travel confirmation email before the event with your pre-work, on or before June 1st. Parking will also be at the respective hotels. 

We cannot change hotels once assigned.

Parking garage on 9th Street 

• Go South on College, turn right on 9th St after Springhill

• Halfway down 9th St. right side is garage. First time in take paper card ticket to get gate open

• Your key card will be active until 4pm on Friday. If you have any trouble exiting the garage, please press the silver button to have the front desk let you out.

Sunday Check-In Time: 4:00 PM (rooms may be available beforehand, but not guaranteed) 

Parking Information: Parking is $7/night and is charged to the room. You will park in the IMU parking lot and take a parking ticket. Your hotel key card will allow you to exit the lot without paying. You can come and go as many times as you wish.

Parking 

If you are staying at a hotel and arriving on Sunday, June 14th, park in your hotel parking lot.

If you are staying at a hotel and arriving on Monday, June 15th, drive to the Monroe Convention Center and park in the lot on Monday morning. Parking at the Convention Center is free for the day. Parking Map is here. Registration is open at 7:15 AM. Breakfast will be open at 7:30 AM. Make sure to arrive by 8am at the latest so you have time to check-in with us and eat breakfast before the opening ceremonies. You will take the shuttle from the Monroe Convention Center to the classrooms after the breakfast/opening ceremonies and leave your car at the Convention Center. At the end of the day, you will be able to take the shuttle back to the Convention Center to get your car and drive to your hotel to check-in. 

The rest of the week, you will leave your car parked at the hotel. You can walk or take the shuttle from your hotel to the classrooms.

If you are driving on Monday morning and not staying at one of the event hotels, park at the Monroe Convention Center on Monday morning. Parking at the Convention Center is free for the day. Breakfast and registration is open 7:15am - 8:15am. You will check-in with the CSPDWeek team, and we will give you a parking pass for the week to use on the IU campus. Plan to arrive by 8:00 AM at the latest to check in before the opening session starts. After the opening session you can either:

1. Leave your car at the Monroe Convention Center lot all day on Monday only and take the shuttle to/from OR 

2. Drive your vehicle after the celebratory breakfast and park in the Fee Lane garage as planned for the rest of the week. 

Parking Passes for Commuters: 

Parking passes for commuters will be distributed during registration. Parking for daily commuters will be in the Fee Lane parking garage located at 709 N. Fee Lane Bloomington, IN 47408 at the corner of Eleventh Street and Fee Lane. If parking is full, overflow parking is available in the Forrest Ave. Garage located at 1015 E. Eleventh Street.

Packing List

What to wear? 

Casual Dress is perfect, nothing fancy is needed from Monday - Friday, make sure you are comfortable. It will likely be warm outside (with lots of opportunities for walking), but in the classrooms, you may want to consider a layer for the air conditioning. Be sure to pack comfortable shoes; IU Is a big campus! 

All hotels have onsite gyms. 

What do I need for my class? 

At a minimum, be sure to bring your laptop. You may need to add and download things for the week (depending on your workshop), so it would be ideal if you have admin/install rights. If not, maybe consider bringing your school and personal laptop. 

We can’t necessarily tell you exactly what each class will need since everyone has a different experience. 

 We’d also suggest packing things like a mouse, mousepad, headphones, notebook and pens, etc., if those are critical to your learning. Don’t forget your chargers! 

Do I need to bring food? 

CSPDWeek will provide the following meals: 

• Breakfast on Monday at our Opening Event

• Lunch Monday - Friday 

• A Light Breakfast “Snack” Tuesday - Friday

• All Day Beverages of Coffee, Tea, Water 

• Each CSPDWeek Hotel (except the Biddle) has a continental breakfast every morning. Dinner will be on your own each night. 

Don't forget a water bottle! There are filling stations around campus. 

Pre-Work

What is Pre-Work? 

Pre-work will include hotel selection, pre-CSPDWeek survey and requests for additonal details. All information regarding pre-work will be included in an email being sent out on or before June 1, 2026.
