This page provides details on style for both visual and auditory art: color values, palettes, sound and music styles, etc., sufficient for artists and audio designers to create the look and sound of the game:
- A detailed outline of the game’s art, sound, and music: how do these support the player experience you are trying to create?
- Include ample reference and concept art to set the tone of the game.
- Reference art may be taken from movies, books, other games, etc., so long as it is not used in the game in any way.
- Concept art (if any) must be original to the game.
- Reference and concept art give the reader a clear idea of the environments, characters, opponents, objects, major locations, key events, user interface, etc. in the game. Note that these are NOT game assets to be included later.
- In addition to reference and concept art, you will need a complete asset list of all art and sound assets needed for the game. This is handled on a separate page.
