Drosophila research in India started in a few University departments in the 1960s. In recent decades, it has expanded significantly with more than 150 investigators working in institutions spread across the country. This site provides information about resources (fly stocks, videos, books and other relevant  material/information) that members of the Fly community in India wish to share with other fly researchers and teachers in the country
