TERMS AND CONDITIONS – INDIAN CALENDAR

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the "Indian Calendar" mobile application ("App", "we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction) and agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE
Indian Calendar provides Hindu Panchang, Choghadiya, Muhurat timings (including Vivah, Griha Pravesh, Naamkaran, Vehicle Purchase, Business Start, and Travel), Hindu festival calendar, Rashi information, baby name suggestions, daily Suvichar/thoughts, personal notes and reminders, home-screen widget access, and multi-language support (Hindi, English, Gujarati, Marathi). Certain features may be offered as part of a Premium subscription.
3. LICENSE TO USE
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on a personal device you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
4. USER ACCOUNTS AND DATA
Where the App allows you to create notes, reminders, or preferences, you are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any associated Google Play account used to access Premium features.
5. PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION AND IN-APP PURCHASES
a) The App may offer optional Premium features via subscription or one-time purchase, processed through Google Play Billing.
b) Prices, billing cycles, and renewal terms are displayed at the time of purchase within the App and/or Google Play Store listing.
c) Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period, in accordance with Google Play's billing policies.
d) Cancellations and refund requests are subject to Google Play Store's refund policy. We do not directly process payments or refunds; all billing is managed by Google Play.
e) We reserve the right to change Premium pricing or features with reasonable notice, without affecting active subscriptions until renewal.
6. ADVERTISEMENTS
The free version of the App may display third-party advertisements served through Google AdMob. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or the products/services advertised. Premium subscribers may receive an ad-free experience where applicable.
7. ACCURACY OF CONTENT AND DISCLAIMER
a) Panchang, Tithi, Nakshatra, Muhurat, Rashi, festival dates, and related astrological/religious content are calculated using standard astronomical and traditional calendrical methods and are provided for general informational and cultural/religious reference only.
b) We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not guarantee that all dates, timings, or calculations are error-free or applicable to every regional or sectarian tradition.
c) The App does not provide professional astrological, medical, legal, financial, or investment advice. Any decisions made based on App content (including Muhurat timings for marriage, travel, business, or other events) are made at your own discretion and risk.
d) Baby name suggestions are provided for reference only; we do not guarantee the accuracy of meanings, origins, or numerological interpretations.
e) You should consult qualified professionals (astrologers, doctors, financial advisors, or legal counsel, as applicable) before making significant decisions.
8. USER CONDUCT
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality, servers, or networks
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the App
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity while using the App
9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content, design, graphics, logos, text, calendrical data compilations, and software within the App are the property of Indian Calendar's developers or their licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App's content without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use as intended by the App.
10. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The App integrates third-party services including Firebase (Google), Google AdMob, and Google Play Billing. Your use of features relying on these services is also subject to the respective third-party terms and privacy policies.
11. NOTIFICATIONS
By enabling notifications, you consent to receive daily Panchang updates, festival alerts, and reminders you have configured. You may disable notifications at any time through your device settings.
12. TERMINATION
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App, without notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be harmful to the App, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the App and uninstall it at any time.
13. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Indian Calendar and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from reliance on Panchang, Muhurat, festival, or other calendrical/astrological content provided by the App. The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
14. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Indian Calendar, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
15. CHANGES TO THE APP AND TERMS
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time without prior notice. We may also update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing these Terms periodically.
16. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Surat, Gujarat, India.
17. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
18. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Indian Calendar regarding your use of the App, superseding any prior agreements.
