How do I create a deck and cards?
Tap the + button on the Home screen to make a deck, open it, then add cards. Each card has a title and a rich-text body — bold, lists, headings, links, and more.
What are folders for?
Folders group related decks (one level deep). Drag a deck onto a folder to file it, or hold-drag to reorder. Use the search bar to jump to any deck fast.
How does Presentation mode work?
Tap the red play button to present a deck full-screen. Swipe or tap the left/right edges to move between cards. Tapping a card link jumps to that card; the back gesture retraces your jumps.
Can I draw on a card?
Yes. Tap the brush icon in the card editor to sketch over a card with a pen and eraser, plus undo/redo. Ink automatically contrasts the card color, and your drawing shows in presentation and export.
How do I back up, move, or share a deck?
Use Export on a deck to save a self-contained file (cards, formatting, tags, and drawings included). Import that file on another device to bring the deck back exactly as it was.
Where is my data stored? Do you collect anything?
Your decks live on your device. indexiFly has no account and does not collect or transmit your card content. The photo/camera permission prompts you may see only appear if you pick a file to import.
I lost my cards / the app behaves oddly.
First, fully close and reopen the app. If a deck still looks wrong and you have an export file, re-import it. Still stuck? Email us the details above and we'll help.
