Independent Transmission

For over 40 years Mario Aristides has been repairing, modifying, designing and, improving German automatic transmissions. During his career he has worked with Mercedes and ZF almost exclusively, he has contributed to many technical service bulletins and technical service manuals for Mercedes Benz. He has also helped improved their designs, contributed to modifications they still use to this day.

Our valve bodies have been re-engineered making important improvements to address and correct several design issues inherent with the ZF series. Improvements include the 3-4 shift slippage( although sometimes it can happens on other shifts) and the 2-1 downshift know as the ‘stop sign bump’ which can be felt as a hard thump (bump) when the car comes to a stop.
