"LET US CELEBRATE THE STRENGTH OF OUR GREAT NATION TODAY AND ALWAYS."
79th Independence Day Celebration
The 79th Independence Day of our country was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on the 15th of August 2025.
The event commenced with the rhythmic beats of the school band, as the members escorted our Chief Guest, Mr. D. Somashekhar Reddy, PTA Vice- President, to the flag hoisting ceremony. With dignity and reverence, the National Flag was hoisted, followed by a soulful prayer dance presented by our students.
Thereafter, the students of grade 6 to 9 participated in a procession, joining hands with the students of government school at Chandapura to stage a powerful street play depicting the significance of the Independence Day. Holding placards and posters carrying strong messages of freedom, the students marched with passion, raising patriotic slogans that echoed in the streets. Their energy and enthusiasm were truly infectious, as they were accompanied by the principal and teachers.
The students of government school of Hale Chandapura enthralled the audience with a dance performance themed Bharatambeya Hemmeya Makkalu, (Proud Children of Mother India) while our students presented a street play on Swachh Bharat (Clean India). The performance not only delivered a strong message on cleanliness and social responsibility but also ignited the young hearts with the spirit of patriotism and a sense of duty towards the nation and the society.
Back in school, the assembly ground resonated with patriotic songs and music. On this proud occasion, the academic toppers and the students who had 100% attendance during the Academic Year 2024–25 were felicitated for their commendable achievements.
The celebration concluded with joyous moments as students relished delicious snacks from the stalls arranged in the school compound. The cheerful gathering fostered a sense of togetherness, bonding, and social harmony among students.
The 79th Independence Day celebration at Nazareth School will always be remembered as a day filled with pride, unity, and inspiration for both students and teachers alike.
