The idea behind the project is to protect drivers and people with medical conditions like diabetic coma, which can occur suddenly. Lian developed a smart camera that monitors the driver’s eyes. If the system detects that the driver is drowsy or unconscious, it triggers an alarm. If the driver doesn’t respond within a set time, the system takes full control of the car, safely pulling it over to the side of the road and sending an alert to the driver’s emergency contacts.
