Templates
Starting from scratch each time is difficult and can waste a lot of time. Consider creating templates of some of your commonly used documents and design assets.
Create bookmark folders with your templates
One way to save some time is to create a folder in your bookmarks of all your templates. In my example the first three links all force copies of the documents. The last doc is a Google doc that contains a list of ready to go messages that can be sent out.
Preloading colors and assets
One of the most time consuming aspects of creating documents is formatting to match your school brand guidelines. In Google Slides you can quickly preload these assets by placing them in the gray space on the side. This way when you make a copy of the template it already has your school colors and logos ready to go!
