The assessment process is designed to be completed within four weeks of the initial testing date.
As a licensed educational and school psychologist in Massachusetts, my role is to assess individuals based on the states special education diagnostic frameworks. I am able to provide individuals with special education related diagnosis within the DSM and determine how they fit within the states educational disability categories. My assessment process aims to determine the most effective support and interventions each individual may benefit from.
Initial Consultation
This meeting customizes the evaluation to address the specific referral reason. You'll collaborate with Dr. Caruso to discuss concerns and goals for the assessment.
Assessment Sessions
Various testing sessions are conducted to gather comprehensive data on the individual's learning and developmental profile.
Report Preparation
Dr. Caruso analyzes test results to create a detailed report, including diagnostic information, strengths and weaknesses, and personalized recommendations.
Feedback Session
To ensure a solid understanding of the findings, a feedback session is held to go over the results and recommendations and answer any questions.
