About Inclusion Festival

Inclusion Festival is a musical festival for people with disabilities, their families, friends, and allies. A day of music, dancing, and art with sensory sensitive spaces and accommodations. Let’s celebrate our unique differences while bringing people together as a community.

While many concert venues, theaters, and art studios have physical access for individuals with disabilities, they are not yet equipped to accommodate sensory or atypical sensitivities. We firmly believe that everyone has the right to access education, the arts, and community events, regardless of ability. Our mission is to share a community arts and musical experience that provides a safe and engaging space for education, resources, and celebration!

About the Founder

Meet Emily, an accomplished educator and inclusion advocate with a diverse background in various educational settings across Sonoma County. Currently serving as an inclusion coach and the President of the Board of Directors for Alchemia, a nonprofit supporting adult artists with developmental disabilities, Emily is also the visionary founder and president of Inclusive Compass, the sponsoring nonprofit behind the festival.

In May 2018, Emily pioneered the annual Inclusion Festival, driven by the realization that no similar event existed in the United States. Her mission is to foster awareness and acceptance by providing a safe space for everyone to celebrate their individuality. Join Emily on this inclusive journey, where diversity is embraced and individuality shines bright.
