The Washington County Library system is an amazing resources for more than just books. Check out the "library of things" to borrow anything from toys, to musical instruments, to camping gear. Also the cultural pass is a great resources for families (or yourself) to provide free access to some of our local attractions. A library card also includes access to online resources such as audio books and their streaming service. Library cards are free (and the library no longer assigns late fees).
Also, Washington County Library systems partners with other library systems in Oregon so if you have a Washington County Card, you can get a free card to Multnomah and Clackamas library systems by visiting their branches which gives you access to all their services as well including their "library of things" and 'cultural passes". Also keep an eye on their sites for upcoming classes, speakers, and activities.

Who doesn't like free books? The Ford Family Foundation has created a collection of free books for anyone in Oregon or Siskiyou County California. This is a great resources for families or educators, or anyone who likes books. You can choose any book from the collection and once you have recieved the book, and written a review, you can choose another for free. Some books are available as e-books, or in Spanish. Keep checking back to see if new books are added.

A local resource that provides daily videos that teachers and parents can use to help their young children learn social-emotional skills. The videos include puppets, songs, and games to reinforce the target skills of the week. There is a subscription, but there are also free videos and resources. (If you are interested in a subscription, please reach out to us, we sometimes have discounts for trials). Resources are available in Spanish and English.
