This Privacy Policy explains how Inci (“Inci”, “we”, “us”) handles information in connection with the Inci mobile application (the “App”). The App is developed by Olga Afanaseva. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
The short version: Inci is built to keep your data on your device. We don’t run a server that stores your personal information, we don’t ask you to create an account, and your skin profile and scan history never leave your phone. The only information that leaves the App is what’s needed to process and manage your subscription, handled by Apple and our subscription provider, RevenueCat.
When you use Inci, the following is created and stored locally on your device only:
Your skin profile (e.g., skin type, breakout frequency, and other onboarding answers)
Your scan history and results
Products you save to your Shelf
Photos you take of product labels or covers
We do not have access to this information, and it is not transmitted to us or to any server. It stays on your device and is removed when you delete the App.
With your permission, Inci uses your device camera and photo library only to read product barcodes and ingredient labels and to let you attach a product photo. Images are processed on your device and are not uploaded to us or any third party.
Inci offers an optional auto-renewable subscription, Inci Pro. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store, and subscription status is managed with the help of RevenueCat, Inc., our subscription infrastructure provider.
To validate and manage your subscription, RevenueCat receives limited information such as your purchase and subscription history, an anonymous app-user identifier generated for this purpose, and basic device and country information. This is used solely to deliver and restore your Pro access. We do not receive your name, email address, or payment card details — Apple handles payment.

We do not require an account or collect your name or email.
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
On-device data (your profile, history, Shelf, and photos) is kept until you delete it in the App or uninstall the App. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained according to their respective policies. For questions about data held by RevenueCat, contact us and we will help.
Inci is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Because your personal data stays on your device and we operate no personal-data server, most requests (access, correction, deletion) can be fulfilled by you directly in the App or by uninstalling it. If you have any privacy questions or requests — including about information processed by RevenueCat — contact us and we will respond.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page.
