Prof. C. Krishna Mohan - IITH

Dr. C. Krishna Mohan is currently a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Dean of Public and Corporate Relations at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IIT Hyderabad), India. He has been with IIT Hyderabad since 2009. He was also the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT Hyderabad from May 2010 till October 2014. Before joining IIT Hyderabad, he was a senior faculty member at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal (NITK Surathkal). He received his M.Tech from NITK Surathkal and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras).

Prof Krishna Mohan heads Visual Learning and Intelligence Lab (VIGIL) at IIT Hyderabad working in the research areas of video content analysis, computer vision, machine learning, deep learning. He is a recipient of Excellence in Teaching Award, in recognition of distinguished teaching in the year 2018 at IIT Hyderabad. He has published more than 60 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and conferences proceedings. He has guided several Ph.D., Masters, and Undergraduate students. He has successfully carried out several projects with industry, government agencies, and academia. He serves as a reviewer for several reputed international conferences and IEEE journals and is a Senior Member of IEEE, Member of ACM, AAAI Member, Life Member of ISTE, Fellow of IEI, IETE, and TAS.

Aveen Dayal

Aveen Dayal currently works as a Ph.D. scholar at Dept. of Artificial Intelligence, Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. Previously he worked as a visiting research student at the department of ICT, University of Agder, Grimstad, Norway. He received his bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from BML Munjal University in 2020. His main research interests are in Domain Adaptation and Generalization methods for autonomous ground and aerial vehicles.

Divya

Divya currently pursuing her PhD at IIT Hyderabad in the visual learning and intelligence group (VIGIL) lab, AI. Previously she worked as an Assistant Professor in reputed engineering colleges. She received her master’s and bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU Kakinada affiliated colleges. Her main research interests are domain adaptation, generative adversarial networks and self supervised learning for biomedical image analysis using federated framework.

Chalavadi Vishnu

Chalavadi Vishnu received his B.Tech (CSE) from JNTU Hyderabad in 2016 and his M.Tech (CSE) from IIT Hyderabad, in 2018, in India. He completed his Ph.D. (CSE) in 2022 at IIT Hyderabad (India) along with Swinburne Unversity of Technology (Australia) with the thesis titled “Towards Robust Indoor and Outdoor Smart Environments”. His research interests include learning various representations of video activities, understanding and detecting multi agents / objects behavior from drone data, and autonomous vehicles.

K Naveen Kumar

K Naveen Kumar received a B.Tech degree in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Vadodara (IIITV), Gujarath, India, in 2018. He completed his M.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH), India, in CSE in 2020. He is currently pursuing his PhD at IIT Hyderabad in the visual learning and intelligence group (VIGIL) lab, CSE. His research interests include security for federated learning systems, scene perception & path planning for autonomous vehicles in adverse weather conditions, and adversarial machine learning.

Wilson A N

Wilson A N received the B.Tech degree in electronics and communication engineering from Govt. Model Engineering College, Thrikkakara, Kochi, India, in 2012 and the M.Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Powai, India, in 2016. He is currently working towards the PhD degree with the Department of ICT, University of Agder, Grimstad, Norway. His research interests include the different aspects of radar signal processing, machine learning for autonomous cyber-physical systems and wireless communications.

Sindhusha Jeeru

Sindhusha Jeeru is currently a visiting researcher at University of Agder, Norway. She received her masters degree from University of Jaen, Spain in the year 2020. She completed her B.E. (ECE) from Andhra University in the year 2018. Her research interests mainly include wireless communication, IoT, and signal processing

Dr. Sreenivasa Reddy Yeduri

Sreenivasa Reddy Yeduri recieved the B.E. degree in electronics and communication engineering from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, India, in 2013, the M.Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Gwalior-India, in 2016, and the Ph.D. degree with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Goa-India, in 2021. He is currently working as a post-doctoral research fellow with autonomous and cyber-physical systems (ACPS) research group at University of Agder, Grimstad, Norway. His research interests are Machine-type communications, Internet of Things, LTE MAC, 5G MAC, optimization in communication, wireless networks, power line communications, visible light communications, hybrid communication systems, spectrum cartography, spectrum sensing, V2X communication, V2V communication, wireless sensor networks, mmWave RADAR, and aerial vehicle traffic management.

Pujitha Mamillapalli

Ms. Pujitha received a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Raipur, in 2019 and a Master’s degree in Signal Processing from the National Institute of Technology, Calicut, in 2021. She is pursuing her Ph.D. with the Department of Artificial Intelligence, Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad, India. Her research interests are in relay communications and tracking in UAVs.
