“The Roles Of Nurses In Response to Covid-19: Clinical, Educational, Managerial, and research Settings”

Coronavirus disease (COVID) -19 as an emerging infectious disease with high global risk has infected people in 215 countries globally and 185 countries have localy. This overwhelms many countries’ healthcare systems and affects healthcare providers such as nurses fighting on the frontlines to care for the lives of everyone affected. Nurses actively focuse in not only on caregiving, but also on creating and maintaining a balance and synergy of physical, intellectual, emotional, social, spiritual, personal and professional wellbeing. Thus, nurses must be qualified with competencies as clinical caregivers, educators, researchers, decision makers, and managers.

The Nursing Department of the Surakarta Health Polytechnic as an health educational institution continues to contribute in increasing nurses competencies through both formal education and annual national or international nursing conference. This year the fourth International Nursing Conference invites all the participants across the globe to attend and share their insights and convey recent developments in the field of nurses role in dealing with the covid-19 pandemic. We are also inviting prospective authors and co-authors to send your proposals for presentations, interactive sessions, poster presentations and virtual presentations one of the themes or tracks that mentioned in our conference tracks.
