Group Leader: Dr. Inbarasan Muniraj

Dr. Muniraj holds a PhD (2017) in optical engineering, an M.E. degree (2013) in Computer Engineering, and a B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (2009) from University College Dublin (UCD) Ireland, Chosun University South Korea, and St. Peters Engineering College affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, respectively. After his postgraduate degree, he worked as a research scientist at the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, South Korea, for one year. His PhD was sponsored by the Government of Ireland (Irish Research Council) under the Early Career Postgraduate Scholarship Programme for the year 2014–2017. After a yearlong postdoctoral research experience from UCD, he worked for Intel Corporation in Ireland on a few different roles between 2018 and 2020. Between 2020–2024, he worked for SRM University AP and Alliance University, Bengaluru, as an assistant professor. He has successfully completed 2 DST (SRG, JSPS) sponsored projects, and he received financial assistance from DST under the International Travel Support (ITS) Scheme FY 2024.
