InAPK: APK & APKS Extractor (“InAPK”, “the App”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is an Android utility designed to extract installed applications as APK or APKS files, export multiple applications, and install APKS packages selected by the user.
InAPK is designed around a simple privacy principle:
Your installed applications and exported files are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to developer-operated servers.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, why that access is necessary, which Android permissions are used, how advertising and Google Play Billing work, and what choices are available to you.
InAPK provides three primary functions:
The App can display applications installed on your Android device and allow you to select one or multiple applications for export.
Depending on how an application is installed:
a monolithic application is exported as an .apk file;
an application installed using split APKs is exported as a complete .apks package containing the required installed APK components.
Processing is performed locally on your device.
InAPK can export multiple selected applications or perform a full export.
When a full export is requested, exported APK and APKS files may be placed into a ZIP archive selected or created by the user.
Large export operations may continue through an Android foreground service so the operation is less likely to be interrupted when the App is minimized.
InAPK allows you to select an .apks file, validate and unpack its APK components locally, and submit the required APK files to Android's PackageInstaller.
Installation remains subject to Android security controls, system confirmation requirements, device policies, package compatibility, and the user's installation permissions.
InAPK does not attempt to bypass Android's security mechanisms.
To provide its primary extraction functionality, InAPK requires visibility into applications installed on the device.
The App may locally access information necessary to identify and export installed applications, such as:
application name;
application icon;
package identifier;
installed package information;
base APK location;
installed split APK locations;
other technical package metadata required for extraction.
This information is used only to provide the application's core APK/APKS extraction functionality.
The inventory of applications installed on your device is not sold, uploaded to developer-operated servers, or shared with advertising providers for advertising or analytics purposes.
InAPK does not use your installed-app inventory to:
create an advertising profile;
personalize advertising;
track you across applications;
perform behavioral analytics;
sell information about your installed applications;
provide installed-app information to advertisers.
Installed-app information is processed locally for the functionality explicitly requested by you.
Files processed or generated by InAPK remain on your device unless you independently choose to move or share them.
The App may access:
APK files belonging to applications installed on your device;
split APK components required to create an APKS package;
APKS files that you explicitly select for installation;
folders that you explicitly select as export destinations;
ZIP archives created as part of a full export.
InAPK does not intentionally upload these files to developer-operated servers.
The developer does not receive copies of your extracted APK, APKS, or ZIP files through the App's core functionality.
InAPK is designed to use Android's system file and folder selection mechanisms, including the Storage Access Framework (SAF) where appropriate.
This allows you to explicitly choose:
the APKS file you want to install;
the folder where exported files should be saved.
InAPK does not require unrestricted access to all files on your device for its intended functionality.
The App is not designed to request Android's broad “All files access” permission solely for APK/APKS extraction.
Access granted through Android's file or folder picker is used only for the operation initiated by you.
Installing an APKS package may require InAPK to temporarily extract APK components into application-controlled temporary storage.
Temporary files are used only as necessary to validate and perform the requested installation operation.
The App is designed to remove temporary installation files when they are no longer required. Android may also remove temporary application cache data automatically.
Exported files saved to a destination selected by you remain there until you delete or modify them.
InAPK uses only permissions and system capabilities required for its functionality.
Permissions are requested or explained in context when they become necessary rather than requesting unrelated access at application startup.
InAPK uses Android's QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES permission because viewing installed applications is directly required for the App's primary APK/APKS extraction functionality.
This permission allows InAPK to discover applications installed on the device.
It does not grant InAPK access to another application's private internal data, user account contents, messages, private databases, or other application sandbox data.
Information obtained through installed-app visibility is used only for the user-facing extraction functionality described in this Policy.
It is not shared for advertising or analytics monetization.
InAPK uses the REQUEST_INSTALL_PACKAGES capability solely for the Install APKS feature.
This allows the App to request installation of APK components extracted from an APKS package selected by you.
InAPK initiates this process only after a user explicitly chooses to install an APKS file.
Android controls whether installation from InAPK is permitted and may require you to enable installation from this source or provide system confirmation.
InAPK does not use this permission for silent or unsolicited application installation.
On supported Android versions, InAPK may request notification permission.
Notifications are used for operational purposes such as:
displaying export progress;
showing the number of processed applications;
showing completion status;
reporting export failures;
providing access to an active foreground export operation.
Notification permission is requested when notification functionality becomes relevant.
InAPK does not use notifications for unrelated promotional messaging.
InAPK may use Android foreground-service functionality for long-running user-initiated export operations.
A foreground service allows an export to continue more reliably when:
many applications are being exported;
a large full-system export is running;
the App is moved to the background;
the device screen is turned off.
The foreground operation is associated with a visible system notification as required by Android.
InAPK may declare and use the Android dataSync foreground-service type for user-initiated local export and file-processing operations.
The service is used only while necessary to complete the requested operation and is not intended to run continuously without an active task.
Internet and network-related permissions may be used by integrated Google services, including:
Google AdMob;
Google User Messaging Platform;
Google Play Billing.
Core APK/APKS extraction and local package processing do not require files to be uploaded to the developer.
The free version of InAPK may display advertising provided by Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK.
Advertising functionality is separate from InAPK's installed-app extraction functionality.
Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share certain information for purposes such as advertising, analytics, service performance, and fraud prevention.
Depending on SDK configuration, device settings, consent choices, and applicable law, this may include:
IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
application and advertisement interactions;
diagnostic and performance information;
device or account-related identifiers;
Android advertising identifier where available and permitted.
Information transmitted by Google Mobile Ads SDK is handled according to Google's own privacy practices.
InAPK does not provide your installed-application inventory to Google AdMob for advertising or analytics purposes.
The list of applications discovered through QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES remains separate from advertising functionality.
InAPK integrates Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to manage advertising-related consent where required.
Depending on:
your region;
applicable privacy law;
Google requirements;
your previous consent choices;
you may be presented with a consent form relating to personalized advertising, non-personalized advertising, limited ads, or related data processing.
Your available choices depend on Google services, applicable regulation, device configuration, and App configuration.
Where a consent form is available, you can make your choice before eligible advertising processing occurs.
InAPK may offer a paid Pro upgrade through Google Play.
The Pro version is designed to provide additional benefits, including:
full export functionality;
removal of advertising.
When an active Pro entitlement removes advertising, InAPK does not display AdMob advertisements to the user.
The Pro purchase does not change how locally processed installed-application information is handled: installed-app inventory remains restricted to the App's core functionality.
Purchases are processed through Google Play Billing.
Google Play, rather than the developer, handles payment information and financial transaction processing.
InAPK may receive limited purchase-related information from Google Play that is necessary to:
determine whether Pro has been purchased;
unlock Pro functionality;
restore an eligible previous purchase;
display the current product price provided by Google Play.
The developer does not receive your full payment-card details through InAPK.
Google's handling of purchase and payment information is governed by Google's own policies and terms.
InAPK may store limited application settings locally on your device.
These may include settings necessary for features such as:
selected language;
appearance or theme;
onboarding completion state;
application preferences;
locally cached Pro entitlement status;
consent-related state managed by applicable SDKs;
other settings required for normal App operation.
These settings are not intended to identify you personally and are not uploaded to a developer-operated account or cloud service.
You can generally remove locally stored application data by clearing InAPK's app data or uninstalling the App.
InAPK does not require you to create a developer-operated account.
The App does not provide:
cloud backup;
developer-operated cloud storage;
user profiles;
social accounts;
synchronization of extracted applications to developer servers.
Core functionality operates locally on your Android device.
Through InAPK's own core functionality, the developer does not intentionally collect:
your name;
your email address;
your phone number;
your contacts;
SMS or call history;
precise location;
photographs or videos unrelated to files explicitly selected by you;
microphone recordings;
camera content;
passwords;
application-private user data belonging to other installed apps;
the contents of your messages;
financial payment-card details.
Third-party Google services integrated into the App may process limited technical and advertising-related information as described elsewhere in this Policy.
The developer does not sell your personal information.
In particular, information about applications installed on your device is not sold, rented, licensed, or provided to third parties for advertising or analytics monetization.
Core extraction and installation data is processed locally and is not intentionally transmitted to developer-operated servers.
Limited information may be processed by third-party services integrated into the App, primarily:
Used to provide advertising in the free version.
Used to manage privacy and advertising consent where applicable.
Used to process Pro purchases and restore purchase entitlement.
Used to perform package installation and other Android-controlled operations.
These third parties operate under their own privacy policies, terms, security practices, and legal obligations.
The developer does not maintain a server-side database containing your installed-app inventory, extracted APK/APKS files, or full-export archives.
Data stored locally may remain:
until you delete an exported file;
until you clear the App's data;
until you uninstall the App;
until temporary files are removed by the App or Android.
Information processed by Google or other third-party providers may be retained according to their respective policies and legal requirements.
InAPK is designed to minimize data exposure by performing its core APK/APKS operations locally.
Reasonable technical measures are used to reduce unnecessary access to user data.
Data transmitted by integrated Google services may be protected using transport encryption provided by those services.
However, no software, device, storage system, or network transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users are responsible for protecting exported APK, APKS, and ZIP files after they are saved to a location under their control.
You remain in control of the primary data and permissions used by InAPK.
You can:
choose which applications to export;
choose whether to perform a full export;
choose where exported files are stored;
choose which APKS package to install;
cancel supported export operations;
allow or deny notification permission;
control installation-from-this-source access through Android settings;
manage advertising/privacy choices where Google UMP provides those controls;
purchase Pro to remove advertising;
delete exported files manually;
clear InAPK's local data;
uninstall the App.
Some features may not function if access required specifically for that feature is denied.
InAPK is a general-purpose Android utility and is not designed specifically for children.
The developer does not knowingly use the App's core functionality to collect personal information from children.
Advertising and consent behavior is subject to applicable Google policies, App configuration, and applicable law.
Google and other service providers may process information in countries or regions different from the country in which you reside.
Such processing is governed by the respective provider's privacy practices, contractual commitments, and applicable data-protection requirements.
InAPK's locally processed installed-app information and exported files are not transferred to developer-operated servers as part of the core functionality.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when:
InAPK functionality changes;
Android requirements change;
Google Play policies change;
third-party SDK behavior changes;
applicable privacy requirements change.
When material changes are made, the “Last updated” date at the top of this Policy will be revised.
Users are encouraged to review the current version periodically.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, privacy practices, or the handling of information in InAPK, you can contact the developer using the contact information published on the application's Google Play listing and official Privacy Policy website.
