How it all began with a camera.

"When you see camera buttons, you may think it's hard to use it, but you must never doubt yourself, you have to believe that you may achieve success."

When I was 10 years old, my parents gave me my first professional camera. It was the Sony Nex-5. From the first moment I saw it, I thought that I would never succeed, but no, I believed and I had self confidence. As I grew older, I began to get better and better. And today, I always say to myself, "Don't be afraid, trust yourself".

Long Exposures

Long exposures are when you take photos with movement. How I took this photo: in the settings menu there is an option called long exposure. Most of the cameras have it. Long exposures are taken in so many ways, usually I use the simplest way. Tell the person to move the object, it’s best if you have lights to do it in the dark. Simply click on the shoot button and there you go, you get your amazing photo!

Detail Focuses

I love close up focuses. The best part of photography for me is the focus. How I took this photo: gently, lightly press the shoot button to get the focus on the object you are shooting. Usually, the focus on object will be marked with a square. For this photo, I found a small stray cat hiding in the bushes, I thought how a great focus this picture would be. The best part of this picture is that the cat is looking straight to the camera. I really like to take photos like this!

Reflections

WOW! Don’t you think this photo is absolutely amazing, I mean look at the REFLECTION! Now I’m going to tell you a little secret about reflections. The part of this photo is to find a small puddle of water or you can use a small mirror. Now here’s the tricky part, don’t put your camera in the water, put it above the water or mirror. Find the best reflection that you like, use some focus on the object and....CLICK...You have an amazing photo!

Art and Sketches:

My progress in drawing

Ever since I was small, I loved to draw. I like to draw cartoonist characters, sunsets/sunrise, nature, etc. I usually draw digitally, I use an app called procreate. Whenever I start to draw, I first draw my progress on the paper. After, when I think it’s good, I take a photo and finish it digitally, but sometimes I can finish it on paper.

Tools and sketchbooks I use for Art:

The 172 artist colours

I use these colours to colour professionally, they shade pretty well and they are very good in detail colouring.

Oil Pastel

As you can see, I use oil pastels for sunsets/sunrises, etc. These oil pastels are good for blending.

Skin tone brush markers

I use these brush markers for colouring the skin.

Toned Gray Sketchbook

I use these kinds of sketchbooks, especially the toned gray. The big one, Gray scale, I use that with chalk colours. The difference is that the gray scale has so many types of grey and the paper is really strong, while the other one doesn’t.

Gel pens

I love gel pens! I use them for the eyes, especially the white one, the others I use for detail.

6H to 9B pencils and blending stumps

I use pencils to do my sketch first, then how I blend is by using the blending stump. The paint brushes are for painting.

Chalk colours

These chalk colours I use for the gray scale sketchbook. How to use them is by not pressing hard, but gently on a piece of paper.

Brush Markers

I use brush pens for the eyes and the tracing. The gray one is for shadows while the others are all black.
