I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Munich Center for Mathematical Philosophy (Chair of Philosophy of Science) at Ludwig Maximilian University. I just completed my PhD in Philosophy at the University of Cambridge, under the supervision of Alexander Bird and Jacob Stegenga. Before Cambridge, I completed a Research Master's in Philosophy & Economics at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam.
I specialise in the philosophy of science, with a focus on the philosophy of the biomedical and social sciences, and in formal epistemology and decision theory. My PhD thesis, entitled Rational Effect Size Measurement, discusses how scientists could use effect sizes of tested interventions to inform rational decision-making.
