What did you learn?
I learned a whole lot from this presentation. I learned that the guest speaker used to be a student of Mr Chong. It makes me feel comfortable to know that she was a student just like us and now has her dream career. It gives me hope to know, that she started out like us and now has a job with united.
Reaction
I was very I surprised to hear some facts about flight attendants and Ms Erica's experience. The fact about flight attendants having a height limit is so interesting. When you see a flight attendant in a plane, you don't really think too much about their requirements. She says that the hardest part is leaving her family and that is honestly my worst fear. I am very family orientated and I would hate that and personally cry every night I am away.

I learned many things from this presentation and our guest presenter herself. I was shocked to hear her background and her journey to get to where she is now. I loved to learn that she could relate with us and talk to us about everything she went through. She told us about her job and the different issues that she goes through with her employees.
I felt inspired to learn about her past and how she plans to go beyond her future. She talked to us about the application to Hilton. I learned that they are soon accepting 16 year olds. This summer we will all be looking into job experience. Ms Nadine did mock up interviews and showed us how they would work in the real interviews. I am honored to have learned more from this presentation.
Summary of the Four Season Hotel
The Four Seasons hotel is a very luxurious hotel with a very large staff. This hotel is famous for their great hospitality and warm welcome to their hotel. The hotel is known to go over and beyond with their services. They push to make the guests feel more than welcomed, living in their paradise. The four seasons hotel is recognized for their unwavering commitment to excellence. They offer over the top services like leisure activities, wedding packages, private jet services, and private residence rentals.
Compared to Guam where our hotels may be a little less attractive. Our customer service tend to be below the bare minimum. A hotel on Guam One day I would like to visit the four seasons hotel myself. It would be an interesting experience and adventure. Most of what we learn about the four seasons hotel seems unbelievable compared to the hotels we are familiar with.
Professional Dress Up Day
This day is important because it helps you be more presentable, clean, and professional. We were given this experience to guide us deeper into the hospitality life. We are steps closer into being everyday workers and we learned the importance of this. I had so much fun putting together an outfit and trying a new style. I went shopping and got to create a good image of my future self.
Today I woke up every excited to dress up and ready to put on my outfit. I enjoy dressing up so much, it makes me feel like a better person. I felt very confident and even more important through this process. I definitely enjoyed this and i loved every compliment i recieved.
