Laboratory Animal rooms

The IVRF has dedicated clean rooms for holding and experimenting on animals. The IVRF with environmental control rooms is designed to provide a controlled and regulated environment for conducting experiments involving animals. These facilities are crucial for maintaining research animals' health and well-being and ensuring scientific data's reliability. 

Rodent surgery operation theatre

A rodent surgery room is a specialised facility designed for conducting surgical procedures on rodents, such as mice or rats. These rooms are equipped with specific features and adhere to strict protocols to ensure the safety of the animals and the integrity of the research.

The IVRF equipped with SKYSCAN-resolution microtomography and IVIS Lumina - Optical Imaging

Sample collection and analysis

Euthanasia with CO2 and dissection is an approved method for lab animal sacrifices and tissue sample collection. The facility has required setup for sample collection, including body fluids and tissue.
