Thank you for visiting my website!
I am an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics, and the Centre for Decision Research at the Leeds University Business School. I am a behavioural economist and I investigate the relationship between risk and behaviour using a range of tools, including economic experiments (and valuation experiments), around topics related to climate change, environmental hazards and the impacts of these on health.
I am also part of the health economics research group at Universidad de la República, Uruguay, where I work on tobacco cessation policies and rare diseases, among other policy-relevant health topics.
My current affiliations:
Healthy Buildings Network (co-lead)
I serve as the Uruguay country delegate for the Society for the Advancement of Behavioral Economics (SABE). I am part of the steering committee and the University of Leeds institutional lead for the Network of UK behavioural and experimental economists (BEE-UK). I am the new Treasurer for IAREP.
My CV can be found here.
