STAFFING | SECRETARIAT | MEDIA TEAM | BOARD OF DIRECTORS
This page includes basic overviews of all the Model UN conference leadership positions typically offered! Dedicated members may advance to a conference Secretariat- the top level of leadership, besides the Board of Directors- one day if they continue Model United Nations for several years and have a track record of proven leadership. Conferences While not all conferences have a Board, an increasing number of conferences are developing formal Boards in order to improve long term management and quality.
Staffing is a great way to view committee from a new perspective, enrich your model UN experience, and build your resume! MUN staff choose topics, write background guides, and collaborate with a team of 3-4 to run the actual committee. It's never too early or too late to start MUN leadership! As long as you are passionate and professional, delegates of all levels of experience are encouraged to apply.
