A prequel-in-spirit of the 1969 original with William Katt and Tom Berenger in the starring roles this time. 

Cumbres & Toltec's Engine #484 makes an appearance, although with some modifications. A fake watertower was built by the film crew west of Antonito for this stunt sequence. 

What would a Butch & Sundance movie be without some train robberies? RPO #54 was given fake sides to appear as a coach for this film, which it would maintain for several more films. Today it has been coverted back to an RPO and is at Cumbres & Toltec. 

I believe D&RGW RPO #065 is the featured robbery target once again (wearing the same paint scheme seen in Paradise Trail). This is still in use at Cumbres & Toltec.
