    Ploypailin Jensen is a Thai princess who is the eldest granddaughter of King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand and a niece of King Vajiralongkorn of Thailand. She is the eldest daughter of Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya of Thailand, who renounced her royal title when she married Ploypailin's American father, Peter Ladd Jensen, in 1972. Ploypailin is not in the line of succession to the throne of Thailand, but she is still considered a member of the Thai royal family and a respected figure in Thai society.

    Ploypailin is also a talented pianist, who has performed around the world, including at the Sydney Opera House. She has also appeared in Thai soap operas, dramas, and musicals, such as Nemiraj - Scenes from Ten Lives of the Buddha. She is a socialite, who has been featured in Thai fashion magazines and society publications. She graduated from the Purcell School in England, and received a bachelor's degree in cognitive psychology from the University of California, San Diego in 2003 and an MBA degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2007. She married her long-time boyfriend David Wheeler in Hawaii in 2009, and they have three children: Maximus, Leonardo, and Alexandra.
