Many of my students achieve a quality North American accent and functional vocabulary to enable them to speak, read, and write English as they progress through grade school and university.

I place an emphasis on phonics and accent reduction with vocabulary building so you become confident in your comprehension abilities and being understood by others when you are communicating in English.

I work with children 3-10 years old as well as preteens and teenagers. I tailor the content and techniques I use in my lessons specifically to your child's interests and needs to keep our time together interesting and engaging. I take a very friendly, relaxed and personal approach with each student so they can gain confidence in interacting with me online.

I use a lot of props, singing, and TPR (total physical response) with younger children to establish a visual, auditory, and physical connection with the English vocabulary and sentence patterns they are learning.

With teens and high school students, I use interesting visuals and subjects to encourage as much use of the language as possible. I encourage them to express their ideas and knowledge. I correct errors in an encouraging atmosphere and motivate them to reach their goals. Your child will enjoy playing vocabulary and role-play games to build confidence, reading, writing, grammar and comprehension skills.
